Project
Summary

The modernization at El Camino College took place in the Social Science Building. This remodel began with a complete interior demolition of non-structural materials down to the concrete structure. The two-story remodel provided the opportunity for efficiency in energy use and materials. Reconstruction of the interior began with new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. New furniture and interior finishes were added to provide an appealing aesthetic and fresh appearance for the campus founded in 1947. With an average enrollment of approximately 25,000 students each semester, this interior modernization created a big impact.
