Project
Summary

The new and enlarged quarters of California Bank at 801 S Central Ave was approximately 10,000 SF and offered customers complete banking services. The building was renovated from three stories to one story with a mezzanine for service rooms. The exterior is brick and concrete construction. California Bank became First Interstate Bank of California and was acquired by Wells Fargo in 1996. Today the building is still occupied by Wells Fargo and shares the space with a market. The brick and concrete facade remains intact, but the glazing systems have been updated with a contemporary design.
