The Firm provided services for Flintridge Preparatory School including a Campus Master Plan, new Science and Cultural Center, remodel of the Library Media Center, and numerous renovation projects since 1981. The Science and Cultural Center was added to the grounds as a major part of the Campus Master Plan. Because of a recent addition of a freeway overpass adjacent to the campus, issues of noise and orientation of the school entry needed to be addressed. The new center, which includes an auditorium and specialized laboratory classrooms, was set on the grounds blocking the view and sound of the intrusive freeway overpass. This innovative design offers an inviting indoor-outdoor plaza, and establishes a new entrance and focal point of the campus.
