Project
Summary

This 75,000 SF medical magnet school sits on a sloping, urban three-acre site. With no room to grow out, the school instead went up. A parking structure was attached as a space-saving alternative to surface lots. Adjacent to the University of California Medical School, students often use University facilities for research and other work. To fit the school into this medical community, the design takes its cues from high technology and biotechnology trends. Sleek styling and bold use of color make this school a focal point.
