Summary

This 60,000 SF facility features 30 teaching stations, a multi-purpose room with a full stage, a media center with computer lab, an administration building, and lunch area. Many components of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools Standards have been implemented for increased energy efficiency and a positive learning environment, CHPS features include full day lighting of classroom spaces; enhanced acoustical performance; energy efficient HVAC systems and lighting; and installation of a cool roof to reduce solar heat gain. A sundial was incorporated at the main entrance courtyard as both a decorative element and an educational tool. Highlight: California Gold Ribbon Schools Award 2016
