Summary

This four-story masonry and wood-framed structure provides 97 apartments for senior citizens and people with disabilities in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles. The complex’s area totals 65,876 SF. The stacked front porch balconies and exterior color changes, combined with the modulated facades, reduce the apparent mass of the structure and visually integrate it with the surrounding neighborhood.
